Moonlit Wave

An exploration of perpetual motion — the rolling of ocean waves and the reflection of moonlight across water, held in tension between stillness and movement. The black ground evokes the depth of night and the unknown, while the silver-white arc captures a fleeting moment of light and wave. Natural bark fragments introduce an organic, textured counterpoint — grounding the piece in earth even as it gestures toward water and light. Technique: Acrylic and mixed media (natural bark).
